  • Your camera (minus the bulky camera bag)
  • Something to sit on (blanket, lawn chair, a stroller or wagon for the kids)

  • A great attitude and a love for all things aviation

Vero Beach Air Show concession stands feature a wide variety of food and beverage for your enjoyment and convenience. Only small coolers carrying life-saving medicines or formula bottles for infants are permitted.

Q – What time do the gates open?
A – The gates open at 9 am.

Q – May I bring lawn chairs?
A – Yes. Lawn chairs, camp chairs, and blankets are allowed (no lounge chairs). Please remember that EVERYTHING is subject to search.

Q – Will chairs be available at the show?
A – Yes. A limited number of chairs will be available for rental at a cost of $10 each. Of course, chairs will be provided in the Reserved Seating and Barnstormer Chalet areas for persons holding those tickets.

Q – May I park an RV in the parking areas?
A – No. Go to http://www.indianriverchamber.com/ for a list of nearby campsites.

Q – Will a shuttle from the parking areas be available?
A – Shuttle service will be provided for all guests.

Q – Will handicapped parking be available?
A – Handicapped parking will be available at all parking lots. Golf cart shuttle transportation will be provided to transport disabled individuals from the parking lot.

Q – Will traffic be heavy before and during the show?
A – Expect traffic delays in the surrounding areas. The show is working with the Vero Beach Police Department and the Indian River County Sheriff’s Department to assist with traffic congestion. Commercial and charter bus parking will be available. Come early to avoid traffic and enjoy the static aircraft on display, the Family Fun Zone, delicious food and drink, and the other attractions.

Q – What is a static display?
A – A static display is an aircraft on display inside the spectator area. These aircraft will not perform in the show but will be available to view and photograph.

Q – Will we have traffic delays after the show?
A – Yes. Please be patient because many vehicles will be trying to exit the show at the same time. Local agencies will make every effort to ensure everyone leaves safely.

Q – Is public transportation available?

Q – May I leave and re-enter the Air Show?
A – Yes.

Q – Are coolers permitted?
A – No. Coolers and outside food and drink are not permitted. A “cooler” is anything designed to insulate. Only small coolers carrying life-saving medicines or bottles of formula for infants are permitted.

Q – May I bring ice to the event?
A – Ice cubes are prohibited. Ice packs ARE permitted.

Q – Are cameras and video recorders allowed?
A – Yes, you may bring cameras and video recorders into the show. Only small camera bags are permitted. Remember: EVERYTHING, including camera bags, is subject to search.

Q – Can I bring an umbrella?
A – Only hand-held umbrellas are permitted. However, umbrellas are discouraged because they block the view of other patrons and present a hazard. Please bring sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses for your comfort.

Q – Should I bring ear protection?
A – Yes, especially for small children.

Q – Do you have bleacher seating available?
A – No. You may upgrade your experience to premium seating in the Barnstormer Chalet or in the Reserved Seating area. Go to TICKETS to see complete descriptions and buy your tickets online. We recommend you purchase premium tickets early while supplies last.

Q – Is shade available?
A – Only limited areas of shade throughout the flight line are available.

Q – Are pets allowed?
A – No pets are allowed except for service animals.

Q – How do I find out about becoming a sponsor?
A – Many sponsorship opportunities exist. To learn more about becoming a show sponsor, go to SPONSORS or contact our Sponsorship Chair at info@veroairshow.com.

Q – Can a company that is not a sponsor buy reserved tickets?
A – Yes. You may purchase chalet seating in the Barnstormer Chalet or Reserved Seating for yourself, your family and friends, and your customers.

Q – What happens if it rains?
A – The air show will take place rain or shine. All performers have inclement weather shows based on current weather conditions. It is rare that a show will be canceled entirely. However, the Vero Beach Air Show reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or suspend this event or any part of this event  should any unauthorized intervention, inclement weather, or other causes beyond its control, corrupt or impair the security, administration, and/or operation of this event as determined by the Vero Beach Air Show in its sole discretion. No refunds or exchanges. Check this website or the air show’s Facebook page for foul weather announcements.

Q – Where can I stay overnight?
A – Follow the links on the Directions page to find hotels and motels available in the local area. Be sure to make reservations as early as possible.

Q – Are there ATMs on site?
A – Yes. Please note: Most vendor sales are cash transactions.
